Dhathri aims to reach out to the masses through its novel and innovative corporate social initiatives.  Gramodayam and War Against Diabetes were launched henceforth to extend to the rural and medically underserved communities. Affordable treatment accessible to the rural areas was the need of the hour. The advantage was the belief entrusted in Ayurvedic medicines and the related treatment.

With increasing incidence of diabetes, heart and nervous related ailments among Keralites, the facts and figures derived through research demanded for an immediate call for action.’War against Diabetes’ is therefore one such initiative aimed at creating awareness about early detection, treatment and health management of diabetes using Ayurveda as the basic platform. WAD will conduct medical camps, educational and interactive learning workshops for diabetes management and treatment thereby reducing the diabetes health outcome disparities in various medically underserved

Dhathri Ayurveda  Pvt Ltd launched Dhathri Gramodayam - a special purpose vehicle - which would ensure the health and economic empowerment of rural population across Kerala on 15th May 2010.

‘Gramodayam’ was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Revenue Minister, Mr K.P. Rajendran, at the Warrier's Hospital & Panchakarma Centre, Kayamkulam.

The Dhathri ‘Gramodayam Project’  would hold a series of camps at  block panchayats in several districts.The camps will include medical diagnosis and the patients will be referred to Dhathri Ayurveda Vaidyasala or Dhathri's Specialty Medical Centres for follow up treatment at concessional rates. The main objective of Dhathri Ayurveda Vaidyasala is to address local health problems at affordable rates.Under Gramodayam, Dhathri will also encourage the cultivation of herbal/medicinal plants in home-based farms/gardens across rural areas. The project also envisages exclusive career opportunities in Ayurveda for the benefit of the rural youth

The ‘War Against Diabetes’ inauguration was held on 14th June 2010, at Mascot Hotel, Trivandrum. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Health Minister Smt.P.K.Sreemathi teacher and Hon’ble MP Dr.Sashi Tharoor. The website inauguration for www.mydiabeteswar.com was done by Dr.Sashi Tharoor in presence of our MD, Mr.Sajikumar.

Eminent personalities like Dinesh Chand Katoch, National Consultant, WHO,Dr. M.R.Vasudevan Nampoothiri, Director, Ayurveda Medical Education, Dr.Meenu Hariharan, Director and CEO, Indian Institute of Diabetes, Dr.T.Sivadas, Ayurveda Drugs Controller, Dr.Anitha Jacob, Director , ISM, Dr.Laliha Appukuttan, Diabetic Diet Consultant, spoke about diabetes management of diabetes, early detection and prevention measures during the function.

WAD aims at creating awareness about early detection, treatment and health management of diabetes using Ayurveda as the basic platform.WAD efforts are focused on making Diabetes a nationwide priority and the various multi level marketing initiatives is conceptualized towards meeting this end. WAD will conduct medical camps, educational and interactive learning workshops for diabetes management and treatment thereby reducing the diabetes health outcome disparities in various medically underserved communities.
