Yoga for Harmony and Peace

Yoga for Harmony and Peace

Yoga is a powerful natural state that can inspire you in many ways!

We decided to celebrate this International Yoga Day with SOS Children’s village, Aluva. Dr.Saji Kumar spoke on the importance & benefits of Yoga Day. And also he demonstrated yoga-inspired exercises to promote lifetime wellness. They were made aware of the relevance of the yoga in daily life. Yoga is above all the regular physical exercises as it paves the way for disciplinary lifestyle amidst the students. It serves both the physical and the psychological aspects of a person. Yoga could help students with their all-round growth. Emotional, physical, intellectual and social are the various dimensions of personality development. The various breathing techniques in yoga can help students control their thoughts and emotions, attain harmony and manage their social life well. Yoga is more than just breathing techniques and correct postures, it is a way of leading a healthy life. Make meditation a daily routine to overcome stress. Yoga is a continuous process. So keep practicing! The deeper you go into your yoga practice, the more profound will be its benefits.
